Plagido Tomasello arrived in the United States from Italy in the late 1800's. He made his home in Hammonton, a town in southern New Jersey. He was one of Hammonton's pioneer farmers. Now, over a century later, I am the 4th generation to farm this same land. From our family's vineyard to your family's table, we hope you enjoy this wine as much as we have enjoyed making it.

Plagido's Winery prides ourself with not only being a family owned business that treats our customers like family but also, by doing things right. All grapes that are used in our wines are Estate Grown. We plant, trim, pick and nurture our grapes. Our wines are fermented on premise in Hammonton, NJ in either stainless steel or oak. Stop by and you will think that you were transported to a different place and time, where wine was an art form and when wine enthusiasts were educated by frequenting the source!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
