Olympic Cellars is a heritage winery located in the foothills oftheOlympic Mountains. Founded in 1979, it is the 15th winery in Washington State and the first to locate on the North Olympic Peninsula. Now you know the stats!

Our small artisan winery isownedand operated by three feistywomen entrepreneurs, better known as the Working Girls (Molly, Lisa and Kathy). And we're true to our name as we're actively involved in every aspect of the business.

Early on I decided to make a wide variety of wines because not everyone likes the same style. And throughout our personal wine journies, our tastes change. So while it is more difficult to make wine in small lots, it ensures that when you visit us, we can offer you wines that you might like after a few simple questions... big bold reds or aromatic fruit-filled whites; dry, sweet or somewhere in between. We let you experiment if you're not sure... that's why they call it a "tasting". So if you don't like the wine, never fear.... dump it and we'll pour you another.

As you would expect the quality of our wines begins with the grapes and we source our grapes from 5 of the top 10 rated vineyards in Washington. Then our winemaker, Virginie Bourgue, takes over with a combination of science, passion and pure artistry.

Medals and outstanding wine critic reviews are our scorecard. And, our bottles are properly accessorized and displayed with these industry accolades. But I consider your feedback the most important. You taste and we get immediate feedback. It doesn't get any better than that. Blends have been altered and new wines released because of your input. I'm a very happy Working Girl Winery Owner when you smile, sigh and utter, "Now This is a Great Wine"!

When you visit our winery, you visit our home. We value the legacy that has been entrusted to us; a 120 year-old historic barn, a 100+ year old hand-crafted tasting bar, farm land that we’ve preserved with a small vineyard and a 100 year old bell that rings in the harvest. You also might say we are “Gracefully Aging” like our wine.

The barn may be a century ++ old, but we describe it as "barn nouveau". Our barrel shaped copper doors invite you into the tasting room where historic meets nouveau that envelopes you with warmth of color, art and whimsical style. You’re invited to taste wines, browse our gift shop, relax in the Gathering Room or step back into time as you gaze upwards into the towering cupolas in the cellar that reveals the architectural past of our majestic barn.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
