Mount Riley, the mountain, watches over the world's foremost Sauvignon Blanc region, Marlborough New Zealand. It's a region renowned for the freshness and fruit clarity of its signature wine. Standing out, like its namesake mountain, is Mount Riley Wines. A family of winemakers deeply rooted in the soils of Marlborough. General Manager Amy Murphy, husband and Senior Winemaker Matt Murphy, and father and Managing Director John Buchanan want Mount Riley to remain within the family for many generations to come.

Our family is intimately involved at every step, from site selection, to grafting, planting and tending vines, to crafting and presenting our wines to discerning customers around the globe. You could say we live and breathe our wine.

In fact the "family" exteneds to the team of hand picked Mount Riley viticulturalists and winemakers, as well as distributors and wine lovers globally. Around the world Mount Riley is selected by those who appreciate quality and value - and the very best of Marlborough, New Zealand.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
