Located in historic Hanover County in Glen Allen, Virginia, 10 miles North of Richmond, 10 miles South of Kings Dominion just off I-95.

This family owned and operated winery offers award winning wines from Virginia grown grapes. Ray Lazarchic (principle owner) works with James Batterson (winemaker), Sebastian Nagy (viticulturist) and Mitzi Batterson (winery manager) to produce 15 varieties of distinctive flavors, including the dessert wine Dolce Vino, winner of the Governor’s Cup for the best Virginia wine of 2005.

Join us for special events throughout the year, including Fridays on the Patio with live music, appetizers, tours and wine tasting, or reserve our new Tuscan style event room for private events.

Our beautiful grounds are a perfect setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions. We also invite you to select from carefully chosen items in our gift shop or bring a picnic and relax on our beautiful patio or balcony.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
