Our Mission is to create a collection of red wines designed make a good meal taste better. We have reached out to top vineyards in the Walla Walla and Columbia Valleys to produce approximately just 650 cases of these wines per year. We feel this limited production is consistent with our search for only the best fruit and vineyard partners.

Our journey started in 2002 by planting a small 150-vine experimental vineyard while beginning our search in the Walla Walla Valley for a site ideally situated to locate an estate vineyard. After three years, our search ended with an unbelievable stroke of good fortune: We found 13 acres of land along Highway 12 west of Walla Walla which we didn’t even know was for sale. Featuring a south facing slope, excellent air drainage, and cool nighttime temperatures, the site should preserve the natural acidity essential for food friendly red wines.

The estate is perfectly sized for probably between nine to ten acres of vines, which translates to no more than 600-800 cases of a premium Bordeaux varietal. Our commitment is to maintain limited production in order to preserve the highest quality, just as in our current bottlings.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
