Welcome to our website – the home of the newest (and smallest) winery near Mattawa, Washington. We are located on the edge of the Wahluke Slope AVA – an isolated, south-facing plateau bordered on the west and south by the winding Columbia River, to the north by the Saddle Mountains, and to the east by the Hanford Reach. The desert heat and abundance of water create the right conditions for production of premium wine grapes. We grow most of the grapes used in our wines. You can learn more about that on our Vineyard page.

We are also located a few miles from the Petrified Ginkgo Forest. This Central Washington area was once vastly different. About 15 million years ago the region was wet and humid, dominated by swamps and shallow lakes surrounded by forests. In the 1950s, highway construction near Vantage, Washington uncovered thousands of petrified prehistoric trees. The rarest variety was ginkgo, a tree that became extinct in North America millions of years ago. The tree survived in Asia and was reintroduced to North America in the nineteenth century. We have planted several hundred ginkgo trees near the winery where they can evolve into a new ginkgo forest.

Our red wine releases include: cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah, pinot noir, and a red blend. We also feature a dry gewürztraminer and a late harvest gewürztraminer.

Our goal is to produce high-quality, hand-crafted wines. Premium wine comes from premium grapes. Please come visit us soon.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
