Celebrating over 25 years of wine making, our small family owned winery is dedicated to the ancient art of winemaking. At Frenchman’s Gulch we favor hand crafting our wines and avoid mass production techniques for an intimate knowledge of every barrel we produce.
Great wines begin in the vineyard so we work closely with our growers. We choose grapes by the acre not the ton so we can completely manage each season’s growth of fruit. We have picked the perfect climate and do not rush to harvest because of heat but rather let each grape ripen to it’s fullest expression. Our inspired growing diminishes the need for winemaking intervention. The truly amazing fruit flavors of the northwest grapes has brought on a new dimension that screams out how delicious these wines can be. Taste us and you will see.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
