Cave B Estate Winery is an award-winning boutique winery located in the Columbia Valley wine region; the very center of Washington State. We grow an unusally broad range of varietals, made possible in large part by the microclimates existant in our distinctive cliffside location, 900 feet above the Columbia River.

Owners Vince & Carol Bryan and their four children planted the first vines in 1980, making Cave B vineyards some of the oldest in Washington State. Our
Winemaker, Alfredo "Freddy" Arredondo, Head Winemaker since 2007, selects only the very best fruit from our now-thirty estate vineyards. A former professional chef, Freddy brings a deep understanding of the beauty of wine and food pairing to his winemaking process. His great passion is marrying Cave B wine and its companion brand SageCliffe dynamically with foods.

Please take your time browsing through our winery pages: get to know our wines, our location, our story and our Cave B Family. At Cave B, we are all about creating fine wines which enable wonderful wine experiences...come visit our tasting room, attend our events or just give us a call; we're always happy to hear from you.Poised 900 feet above the Columbia River, Cave B Inn at SageCliffe, surrounded by estate vineyards & fragrant orchards, offers breathtaking views of sky, water and canyon. Comprised of 30 guestrooms, including 15 finely appointed Cliffehouses, the inn includes a full service spa and a swimming pool.

Intimate in nature, experiential by design, Cave B celebrates those things which elevate and refresh us, providing an enriching environment where guests can experience firsthand the power of the land.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
