Established in 1995, Cavatappi Distribuzione is a wholesale wine importer and distributor located in Seattle, covering all of Western and parts of Eastern Washington. Our many accounts range from the top restaurants and fine wine shops to the smaller independent markets and include chain stores with stewards. Our aim is to always provide every customer with knowledgeable, outstanding service and a selection of great wines.

We represent a wide range of carefully selected wines from around the world, from small growers to the great estates of Europe and the New World. Our portfolio includes wine from such notable importers as Kermit Lynch, Europvin, Terry Thiese, The Sorting Table, and Banville & Jones, plus many small quality wineries from the Northwest and California. That being said, we continually seek out and carry many lesser-known properties with an emphasis on quality and value. Please see our producers tab for more detailed information. Our (slightly corny) motto at Cavatappi is... "we sell wine, not boxes".

Cavatappi Distribution offers wine from the around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Italy, France and all major wine producing regions in the United States.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
