One of the main goals of Bisquertt, is for its wines to reflect with integrity the terroir where they come from. For this, day by day a selected group of people supervises a rigorous handling of the vineyards from the planting to the bottling and labeling process of its wines, committed to the superior quality of all its products, supporting in time, the “Colchagua” Denomination of Origin. This is what we refer to Estate Bottled, an essential commitment to the roots and wisdom of our land traditions and our people. A permanent search of the distinction and strengthening of the Colchagua terroir, unique and unmistakable features present in what we do, resulting from the climate, land and our work. Currently the varieties produced by Viña Bisquertt are: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Viogner, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere, Syrah and Malbec. We also own planted varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Semillón, which are finally used for assemblages. Today 100 % of the grapes we use come from our own vineyards in Las Garzas, Chomedahue, Lihueimo, Rinconada, Casas Viejas, El Rulo and Trinidad, which in its entirety surpass 750 has. The physical distribution of our vineyards in the length and width of the valley, from the inland deepness to the coastal area, has made possible a remarkable development in consolidating a specific terroir for each variety that we cultivate.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
