Walking into the south entrance of the winery, you will find our beautiful and inviting tasting room. The tasting room is highlighted by the original barn beams, high ceilings, rustic finish and turn of the century furnishings. For many, it will bring to mind memories and images of an era gone by, filled with fun and ambience. Relax, enjoy the warm atmosphere and try our great wines.

The winery is housed in our renovated barn built in 1926. With the barn badly in need of repair, in 2001 we began our family's commitment to convert this majestic, historic building into a winery for Beresan. Two years later, reconstruction was complete, and we opened our doors to the public for the first time on December 4th, 2003.

Utilizing the west half of the barn, new meets old with our modern, climate-controlled barrel storage. The precise atmospheric controls and 22 months of storages in French oak barrels enable the wines to develop and finish to perfection. Also found in the winery is our production area for crushing, fermentation and additional storage for our bottled wines.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
