Alona winery was founded in 2001 in moshav Givat Nili, settled at the heart of the Menasheh plans, by the Azoulay and Rabau families. Together they are responsible for growing the vineyards as well as making and distributing the wine. The vision of Alona winery is to produce a regional wine either varietal or blend. The winery produce between 6000 an 9000 bottles per year of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz and Carignan. In the last two years we have started producing Rose wine from Grenache variety The winery was awarded the best small boutique winery award in 2007 as well as gold and silver medals for its wines 2007,8,9,and 2010 at the TERRAVINO and
ESHKOL HZAHAV wine completions.
