Dry and refreshing with aromas of lime, grapefruit and dry white peach. Mouth-watering. This is classic northern Italian Pinot Grigio. Some white pear and stony minerality on the palate. Medium-bodied and thirst-quenching: perfect as an aperitif or companion to seafood or shellfish.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: squash soup, chicken cacciatore, sherry potatoes, spaghetti, avocado and papaya salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Aimee Fowler - WSET L2 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

At first nose of this wine I could tell this would be a delicious food wine, but easily respected as a sipping wine. A wonderful bouquet of pear, yellow apple, star anise and parmigiano reggiano cheese hits the nose upfront. Then the classic Italian minerality shines through. The palate is crisp and refreshing. Flavours of fresh pear, the spice of star anise and liquid minerality dance around the mouth. The acidity is sharp and crisp cleansing the palate making this a perfect food wine for white fish, creamy pastas, and patio sipping.
This is quite aromatic for Pinot Grigio with distinct orchard blossom, pear, green apple, melon and crushed rocks. Crisp and bracing on the palate with impressive structure and acidity. The fruit is delicately positioned but holds pace with the landslide of rocky minerality. Enjoy with lake fish, or olio pasta with seafood or chicken.
