Fleshy black plums mingle on the nose lifted by some savoury herbal notes. Supple texture with polished satin tannins. There's both freshness and richness: a hedonist's dream combination. Think of it as every merlot would like to be, but can't. Perfect for relaxing and thinking: life's good, baby!

Carmenere food pairings: slow-roasted beef with root vegetables, spicy Thai.

Reviews and Ratings

This wine will be released in Vintages October 15.
Deep purplish ruby-red in colour, our
Carmenère Single Vineyard opens with aromas
of sweet spice and chocolate that lead the way to black fruits that meld with the variety’s characteristic black pepper notes. Exuberant and intense flavours reveal excellent typicity on the palate with a touch of roasted red pepper, soy sauce, cinnamon, and blackberries complemented by a touch of tobacco and pencil lead. The palate displays very sweet, soft, and ripe tannins with firm acidity that refreshes and guarantees a long life in the bottle.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
