This organic wine has just 6 mg/l of free sulphur. Lovely cherry-berry flavours on the nose and palate. Fleshy sweet berry fruit unfurls on the palate with luscious, full-bodied layers of pleasure. Finishes long and lovely. Drink with planked salmon.

Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2010 Bonterra Pinot Noir has attractive aromas of black cherry and toasted oak on the nose, and red currant and dates on the palate. It is a light to medium bodied, on the acidic side, fruity wine; with refined tannins (decant for 15-30 min) and a medium finish. It is food friendly; drink now to 2017. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 89 pts – recommended based on both, value and quality. Tasted March/13.

The Bonterra 2010 Pinot Noir is another one of those wines that is sure to start a row when wine lovers get together. This is a wine with a medium body and a bright, clear ruby color. The aroma is a melange of strawberries, red raspberries and black cherries mingled with oak. In the flavor department, black cherry abounds, with hints of vanilla, soft oak and chocolate in the background. Take our word for it: this is one of the better pinot noir wines of the 2010 vintage, sustainable organic farming or not. Medium-bodied & Fruity.
