Vintages Wine Panel: Opens up with enticing aromas of exotic flowers, white peach and honeydew melon. Dry with a medium-full body and a lovely round, mouth-filling texture. Ripe and very tasty, with impressive balance and a persistent finish. This is a serious Viognier with character to spare. It’ll make a fine summer sipper. My note: Like this! Floral and mild spices without being polarizing. Rose petal and white flowers. Medium-bodied and zippy.

Viognier food pairings: grilled chicken breast, pasta primavera.

Reviews and Ratings

Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Excellent price for a very nice day-to-day Viognier (gets an extra point for the price).. Medium body. Rose petals. Tropical fruits. Lime. Grapefruit peal. Slightly carbonated. Beautiful minty long-finish. What a great QPR wine. I'd buy 4-12 bottles for the remaining summer. Went perfectly well with chicken thighs with olive oil and a dry BBQ rub.
Heather Proctor reviewed this wine as follows:

We both liked it (unusual)! Very nice with grilled chicken breast with orange and pine nuts (Webers book). Also good on its own, for sipping.
Lee Newby - AIWS reviewed this wine as follows:

Grape Variety: 100% Viognier
Very good wine showing white peaches and ripe pears over honey suckle and a touch of sweet herbs. The medium plus fruit concentration leads to a medium plus finish. The wine has medium acidity and good complexity. Drink now and for 1-2 years.
