The gewürztraminer leads in this blend with riesling, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay musque and viognier. Enticing aromas of baking spice, rose petals and lychee. Very floral and perfumed. Medium-bodied. Great for Asian and spicy dishes. Finishes clean and refreshing with some grapefruit and lemongrass. Lovely!

Food pairings: grilled seafood, herbed chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Easily one of my favourite wineries to visit when I am home in St. Catherines. And easily one of my favourite wines from 13th Street. Love the floral notes leaping first from the glass. Along comes Niagara tree fruit(peach, pear, apple). Follow that with crispness and thirst quenching acidity. Enjoy on it's own or head over to 13th Street bakery and pair it with any number of delectible treats.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Tropical and stone fruit, orange zest, lime peel, lanolin, freshly opened tennis ball, lemon wax and lychee. This wine has a lot going on. 89 Points.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A refreshing white wine with a bright tree fruit nose, bright fruity palate with floral touches. Off-dry with a medium fruity finish.
The paints in this palette consist of riesling, sauvignon blanc, gewürztraminer, chardonnay musqué and viognier. Winemaker Jean-Pierre Colas applies his experienced brush to create a virtually dry, attractively perfumed white perfect for summer. It shows strong floral character as well as tropical fruit, citrus and spice, culminating with crisp acidity and a pleasantly bitter nuance. Score: 91 (Beppi Crosariol, The Globe and Mail, Aug. 1, 2012)
