Natalie's Score: 93/100

A blockbuster Malbec with great depth, concentration, elegance and length. A little closed right now, the 2016 Concreto Malbec was produced in a difficult year with cool, rainy conditions in the Altamira. Even though, lot of aroma of herbs, with dark fruit, berries and savoury spices on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next five years.

Malbec food pairings: asado, sausage casserole, roasted root vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Sebastián Zuccardi, Concreto 2016 is a medium-plus-bodied 100% Malbec with grapes sourced from the Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley, Mendoza
Wine grapes were fermented in concrete tank with indigenous yeasts, a portion of the grapes were whole-bunch fermented to capture the fresh fruit flavours in the wine. Look more for savoury, dried herbs and smoky fruit flavours on the palate. Pair with bison burgers. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
