Full-bodied, robust, rustic red with smoky black fruit and cedar brush. The grapes for this wine come from the winery's oldest vineyards and then the wine is aged 2 years in oak. Smoke and some dark spice on a long finish.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

When I was asked to taste this wine, and bought the glass to my nose, the word "Wow" came out of my mouth. Rich dark fruits and smoke were the aromas that greeted me, and the aromas had an exotic feel to them. It didn't disappoint on the palate either. Rich, lush and full of flavor, this delicious wine would compliment any rich sauce, rich pasta and flavorful pork dishes that come out of Italy. I am looking forward to having this wine again.
