From the Peloponnese wine region, Zacharias 2021 Moschofilero is great value at $14. Fragrant with rose petal, lemon zest, intense on the palate and matched with vibrant food-friendly acidity. A dry, medium-plus-bodied white wine perfect for seafood or salads.

Moschofilero food pairings: watercress and cucumber tea sandwiches, cream cheese and lox on baguette, herbed quiches, brunch fare.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A great wine discovery with this dry and aromatic white wine from Greece's Peloponnese region. Pair it with grilled white fish or a shrimp salad and enjoy the notes of lemon, lemongrass, rose petals and lokum(Turkish delight). High acidity makes it very refreshing and the aromas are delightful throughout. Look forward to buying this again.
