Westcott Estate 2019 Pinot Noir is a juicy Vinemount Ridge, Niagara Peninsula wine region PN with tart dark cherry, plum, toasty oak spice balanced with bright acidity and velvety tannins. A portion of the wine grapes (30%) were whole-cluster fermented and underwent a natural malolactic conversion. Drinking beautifully now.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roast leg of lamb, sautéed pork chops with wild mushrooms, butternut squash and onion risotto.

Reviews and Ratings

Westcott Estate 2019 Pinot Noir is produced by winemaker, Casey Kulczyk. A blend of the estate's Westcott Home Farm vineyard and Butlers' Grant vineyard, grapes were 30% whole-cluster fermented in 100% French oak (22% new) then aged for 22 months in barrel. Rich and fragrant with ripe red berry, fine herbs, anise, baking spice and earthy florals on the nose and palate, this is a savoury and elegant PN to drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
