Love this opulent and elegant medium-plus-bodied Chilean Syrah with great backbone and ripe dark plum, blackberry, coffee and spicy flavours weighty and luxurious on the palate.

Syrah food pairings: grilled pork chops, shish-kebab, roasted root vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From the Aconcagua Valley of Chile, the Errazuriz Winery has always been a leader for the quality of there wine. The Aconcagua Costa Syrah 2017 pleases with its drinkability and aromas of black currant, dried cranberry, eucalyptus, tobacco leaf, clove and espresso. Medium-bodied, well balanced with a supple spice note. The finish is long and agreable, combined with flavors of blueberry, black cherry, green peppercorn, leather, allspice and cedar. Enjoy.
Viña Errazuriz 2017 Syrah from the Aconcagua Costa, Aconcagua Valley shows its coastal origin with grapevines not more than 12 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean. Fresh and intense with dark berry, dark plums, espresso, mineral and spicy flavours on the palate. Grapes are cold-soaked and fermented at 24-28 degrees Celsius (75-82 degree Fahrenheit) in stainless steel tanks and the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
