Reviews and Ratings

Brent Gushowaty rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

The wine shows a medium depth in the glass. The nose is full of soft ripe fruit aromas including black plum as well as a touch of charcoal and earth. On the palate, quite simply - it sings. It shows silky fruit, graphite, plum skin, and bass notes of dark berries. The seamless integration of flavours here is the keystone element. The finish is medium plus, soft and echoing.

BJ Oudman rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Just one of their vineyard designate Malbecs, this offering from Luján de Cuyo holds pedigree from the vineyard of Viña Cobos inaugural release back in 1999, the Marchiori estate. A dark violet core is the hiding place for intense ripe berries, garrigue and exotic spice. A fine example of integrated finesse and structure. Best enjoyed with leaner cuts of beef but suitable for Mediterranean influenced vegetarian dishes.
