A seductive cool Climate Australian Chardonnay from the Margaret River. Aromas of butterscotch, toasted almond, and green apple. This is a gorgeous Australian Chardonnay has terrific, racy acidity for seafood, shellfish, veal, and roasted chicken. MINE: Vasse Felix Filius (2017) is a cool-climate Chardonnay from the Margaret River Valley in Australia. In fact, this vintage was the coolest in 10 years. Look for toasted nut, crunchy green apple on the racy white made for food -- oysters Rockefeller come to mind. Well balanced medium integrated alcohol, medium plus body, with fresh, clean, crisp mouthfeel. Saline minerality, green apple, savoury, blanched almond on the palate.
