Natalie's Score: 90/100

A full-bodied Chilean red wine with a supple, smooth texture and seductive dark spices. Pretty darn amazing for the price, even at twice the price. Lusciously ripe black fruit with layers of juicy pleasure that will make you regret buying only one bottle. The parent winery of Valle Andino is Agricola Y Commercial Santa Camila. Full-bodied and some kinda wonderful. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Syrah food pairings: beef, game meats, pork chops, burgers with blue cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A terrific value priced Syrah from the Colchagua Valley in Chile. Nose displays those attractive characteristics you want to see in a premium Syrah. Dark berries, black pepper, vegetal notes. Dry, with great acidity, this value priced wine would pair terrific with a savoury beef stirfry or pepper steak. 88 points. Tasted January 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
This gorgeous Chilean Syrah is amazing for the price. Generous layers of fleshy black fruit flavours and smoke. Pair with grilled and smoked meats. - Community Wine Reviews
