Undurraga Royal non-vintage bubble is a rich and lively sparkling rosé produced in the Charmat Method. Produced from 100% Pinot Noir from Chile's Leyda Valley and so fresh on the nose with ripe peach, apple and cherry flavours vibrant with fresh acidity and a lively, persistent mousse. Nicely done and so is the price at $15.

Pinot Noir Brut Rosé Sparkling food pairings: creamy cheeses, fried chicken, sushi, mildly spiced food, seafood canapes, salads, fish and chips, fish tacos.

Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This sparkling is made of Pinot Noir (100%) and is made using the Charmat method
(Method for producing a sparkling wine obtained from a still wine to which a liqueur detirage is added in a hermetically sealed tank (closed tank), heated, for 1 to 2 weeks.
The result of this fermentation is then refrigerated to clarify the wine and then bottled with or without the addition of carbon dioxide.)

Nice pink salmon color with aromas of cherry, peache and red apple.

This sparkling is nerve, long and light-bodied on the palate.

Pair it with a fish and chips.
Serve it at 5-6 degrees.

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This 100% Pinot Noir rosé is a lively sparkling wine with tart fruit on the palate making it best enjoyed with food. It would be a perfect wine to serve with quiche or grilled salmon. Tasted August 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
