Reviews and Ratings

Simon Chen rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

it's an entry level champagne but with good balance of fruit and acid. The aroma develops a bit more after 30min of opening with more toasty and rich fruits. However, the bubbles are weak....
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Nov. 13th at wine club. Colour pale dull gold, bubbles overpowering. Aromas and flavours of toast, apple, smoke. Taste dry, lively mousse with apple fruit, intense flavour wakes up your palate. Finishes medium. Ok I do not drink champagne often and find it hard to offer an opinion. But I believe there a better examples out there.
If you are going to taste good champagne and I mean from Champagne it makes sense to go with a better one because you are probably drinking it for a special occasion.
So choose a Cava or Prosecco or a Cremant from Burgundy if you are on a budget.
Just my opinion??

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
