Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a super impressive sparkling wine for the price ($11.95). A blend of Chardonnay, Semillon, and Malbec, from the Mendoza region of Argentina, the nose is full of lovely flinty minerality, toast, pineapple and green apple. The palate comes up a bit short, in comparison to the aromas, however, this is a stand-out wine for enjoying with large crowds or simply to be your go-to bubbly to have on hand should an impromptu celebration be required. A real Smart Buy! Tasted October 2015. 88 points. Matt Steeves - @QuercusVino
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A very good value sparkling wine for the price. Offers a nose and plate of toast and green apple with a touch of tropical fruit appearing on the palate. This is a good sparkling wine to start the evening with.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Light and refreshing aromas include peach, and green apple with a hint of toasty bread. More tropical fruit on the palate. Very good value for this inexpensive sparkler - would be a great party wine.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A nice crisp inexpensive sparkling from Trapiche! It's dominant charateristics include: peach, apple and steely minerality. This sparkling is refreshing, uncomplicated, easy drinking and light bodied with a short finish. Tasted Nov 2015.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

The 2014 vintage Extra Brut is 12?V and pale straw colour. Offering intense wet stone minerality, baked bread crust, with crisp refreshing almost ripened stone fruit, this is a great value-priced crowd pleaser for any festive occasion calling for bubbles and great times. Enjoy now.
Trevor Sabourin - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Fantastic value! MacIntosh apple, pineapple, lemon, brioche, toasted almond, and smoky notes on the nose. Hits the palate with tart red apple and lemon zest, then peach, pineapple, yeast, smoke, and a slight herbaceous note follow. Crisp, zippy, and refreshing. Can't ask for more at the price!
