Reviews and Ratings

Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This fine Italian sparkler is light yellow/green colored. It is fresh on the nose, showing characters of white fleshed fruits, pear, fresh apple and aromatic spring flowers. The wine showed a pleasant bead and felt soft and creamy on the palate. It showed hints of apple and almond and the off dry finish was lengthy. This wine is great as an apéritif or served with soft cheeses. Serve well chilled. It is a great bubbly for any occasion. [Tasted February/17]
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fresh and floral aromatic Prosecco with fruity fleshy orange, melon and mineral flavours. It's light, refreshing, and simple with a long off-dry finish. Enjoy with light goat's or sheep's milk cheeses, spreads and/or preserves. Tasted Feb 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Delicious aromas and flavors of lemon peel, nuts, unripe white stonefruit and white flowers. 89 Points (www.ottawawinejournal.com) tasted Feb 2016
Dianne Sheridan - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Very aromatic, with bread crust, yeast, citrus, apple and grapefruit on the nose. On the palate, it has fresh, crisp, lively bubbles that create a creamy citrus mousse mouthfeel. It has a long, fruity, dry, citrus finish.

Serve with seafood, shrimps and white polenta.

This Prosecco is produced in the Provinces of Treviso and Vencie. It is made from the white Glera grape varietal which originated in Slovenia. Glera was brought to the village of Prosecco and up until 2009 was referred to as the Prosecco grape varietal. It is mainly used for the production of sparkling wines.

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A delicious value-priced Prosecco made from 100% Glera grapes sourced throughout Treviso and Venice, Italy. Sweet orchard fruit, floral blossoms, and minerality on the nose and palate, this Prosecco has a creamy and refreshing palate making it ideal with appetizers and as a base for sparkling wine cocktails. It is spritz-o'clock yet? Highly recommend buying by the case. At $15 you won't find a tastier sparkling wine. Tasted February 2017. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A very fresh and aromatic sparkling from Veneto. Lots of lemon and citrus on the nose with a hint of floral. More fruit and some toasty notes in the mouth. Bone dry with nice acidity and generous mousse. I must add that this is an incredibly priced wine-a must for your cellar.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This wine is coming soon to the LCBO. Watch for it as it is a good value prosecco. While pale yellow in colour, it has a nice fruity floral nose and is refreshing with its fry, citrus and apple coming forward through the medium bubbles. It is easy drinking and versatile enough to either start a meal or enjoy with. Tasted Feb. 24, 2017.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An excellent value Prosecco, particularly if you like a lighter, fresh style. Crisp and delicate citrus notes on the palate. Light effervescence opens up those citrus notes on the palate. Perfect as an aperitif or with light and fresh seafood. (Feb 2017, July 2021)
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A fresh and fruity extra-dry Prosecco, perfect for kicking off a get-together. Pretty floral and apple nose, with peach and apple palate and light mousse.
Tasted Feb. 2017
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale straw yellow in colour with citrus aromas. Grown in fertile soils on flat lands interspersed with a lot of small rivers and in a Continenal climate. This DOC Prosecco would be a great go to for your everyday sparkling wine. Crisp but not overly acidic.
Tasted February 2017
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Pale white straw colour. Aromas of crisp yellow apples, pears, flowers, and cereals. This wine has a bright acidity, a round mouthfeel, and a medium finish of apples and citrus. Score 87/100. (S.Segard, reviewed Feb. 2017)
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Fresh, crisp and vibrant prosecco with fruity notes of candied lemon peel, orange blossom, green apple. Approachable, value priced and ready to enjoy. Crowd pleasing. Tasted Nov 2016. Re-tasted Feb 2017. Rated 87/100
Prosecco is a great accompaniment to appetizers or to refresh the palate between courses. Torresella brut is vibrant, fragrant with honey, pear and melon fruit. Very good quality and very easy to go through a few bottles of this crisp, refreshing and approachable Prosecco. - Community Wine Reviews
