Natalie's Score: 92/100

Tommasi Casisano 2015 Brunello Di Montalcino is so pretty on the nose with pink florals, wild herbs and citrusy aromas. Dry, medium-plus-bodied on the palate with lots of dark fruit and red berry flavours matched with vibrant acidity and fine, chewy tannins. Needs some cellaring time to come together, but this Tuscan red is already showing great promise. Try in 2024.

Brunello di Montalcino food pairings: roast boar, bison burgers, venison stew.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Pretty and light on the nose with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and dried herbs. Slightly earthy, medium bodied with vibrant tart red berry, mouthwatering acidity, with some medium tannins, and a warm, herbal note on the lengthy finish. Beautiful! Enjoy with pan-seared duck.
