This white wine blend of Chardonnay and Riesling grapes offers lovely white floral notes and terrific acidity for seafood and salads. If you like Viognier try this delightful white wine. Medium-bodied and well-priced. Pair with mild curries and spices as well.

Food pairings: lemon-citrus cod with grilled vegetables and herbed rice.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Intriguing herbal, hint of licorice on nose, followed by palate of herbal white tree fruit. Dry, crisp mouthfeel with spice/licorice/pear finish.
Trevor Sabourin - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

This unusual blend of chardonnay and Riesling offers a fresh, fruity nose of pineapple, peach, melon, red apple, lemon/lime, and some white floral aromas. More citrus and tropical fruit follow on the palate, along with substantial nutty, biscuity character, and some alcohol bitterness. Medium-full bodied and dry, with medium-high acidity. Good length finish, dominated by nuttiness, with some citrus.
One of the oldest wineries in South-Eastern Europe, Tikves Winery's history spans more than 125 years and includes a tradition of producing award-winning Macedonian wines. This cuvee exhibits fresh, intense aromas of pear and peach. There are notes of apple, orange and lemon blossom. The acidity is balanced and the finish lingers.
