Love it! I find many pinot gris boring, but this is spectacularly interesting. Glorious notes of white peach and Asian pear, with a lovely salmon hue. Perfect aperitif or companion to seafood, salads and roast chicken.

Pinot Gris food pairings: seafood dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Peter Wilkins rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

We discovered this wine in New Zealand in 2012 and loved it; but we have only found it once at LCBO :(
As Natalie describes, this is an outstanding Pinot Gris with light fruit flavours that linger on the palate. We enjoyed it on its own, or with seafood or chicken. Hoping for its return to Ontario.

Wow, what a nose! Apple, apricot, spice, peach and bananas with a floral flourish of mint. The palate is dry, medium bodied, round, balanced and fruity with more tropical fruit and a seam of bracing acidity. The finish is delightfully long. An exceptionally well-priced wine that will make a nice companion for seafood dishes, or enjoy it on its own as a fresh and fruity sipper. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
