Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very deep ruby in colour, medium bodied, well balanced acidity and tannin, dry with a pronounced nose of red plum, blackberry, violet and a hint of strawberry. Very smooth with flavours of plum, blackberry, violet and and bit of mineral. Medium finish of dark fruits. This is very good with grilled meats and on its own; extremely enjoyable.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Notes of delicious dark berries, blackberries, baking spice and pepper with a zippy finish.
Tasted Nov. 2018
The Lane Vineyard's Block 5 2016 is a medium-bodied zesty and savoury Shiraz from wine grapes sourced from the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Lovely balance of ripe red and black berry fruits, dried herbs and cracked pepper flavours on the palate. Acidity is zesty and balanced to fruit. Made for food. Enjoy with a pork tenderloin Wellington. - Community Wine Reviews
