The 2012 vintage of Tessellae Old Vines Cotes du Roussillon is fresh and intriguing on the nose with fleshy black fruit and some toast. Perfect for grilled meats. Finishes with pepper and dark spice. Highly recommended.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark plums, black cherry, black pepper and sweet spices. The flavour is black cherry and spice with a nice balance of acid and tannins. A perfect wine for barbecued ribs.
Bob Williams rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I really enjoyed this wine, nothing fancy just pure and simple. A great everyday bottle.
Domaine Lafage creates this red wine blend of 40% Grenache grapes from 60-year-old vines, 40% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre, both of which are sourced from 20-year-old vines. The wine was matured for 12 months in one-year-old concrete tanks. - Community Wine Reviews
