Reviews and Ratings

Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A bit too acidic to my taste. Needs to be served a bit colder than usual to enjoy. Improves after an hour. Full body.dark berries and plums with hint of mint and cassis. Nice medium-tight finish. Overall good, but had better Malbecs within the $18-$20 price range.
Medium bright ruby. Brooding, slightly medicinal aromas of blackberry, licorice, bitter chocolate and mint. The surprisingly sweet and fat in the mouth, with cassis, licorice and dark chocolate flavors that are primary without coming off as austere. This has the stuffing to support its substantial dusty tannins. Score: 88 Source: Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar
