This Georgian red wine is a blend of the red grape Saperavi and the white grape Rkatsiteli. Although this red has a touch of sweetness, it’s balanced beautifully by the ripe red berry fruit and spices. Lovely notes of blackberries and plums.

Food pairings: turkey and cranberry sauce, pork with a fruit reduction, fresh fruit tarts.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium purple with aromas of cranberry, cherry, and a very light touch of dried herbs. The taste is off-dry with candied cherry, dried herbs, and cranberry. Medium acidity keeps the sweetness in check. I'm trying this with chicken thighs in a spicy jerk sauce.
