Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

A rich and luscious vintage Port from one of the best declared years, the Taylor Fladgate 2011 Vintage Port offers a warm and rich nose of dried figs, plums, chocolate, and stewed dark fruits. The palate is rich and complex. Layers of sweet and mouthwatering stewed fruit, dried fruits, with ever present tannins that will only continue to soften as this beautiful wine spends time in the cellar. Decant for a few hours and enjoy or let cellar for as long as you can bare, easily 20+ years. Tasted November 2014. 94 points. Matt Steeves - www.nataliemaclean.com
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Rich an full-bodied with pronounced flavours of bramble, dark chocolate, caramel, rum cake, and dried fruit with a bit of black pepper spice. While still in its youth it is long on the palate with refreshing acidity.
Pair with Black Forest Cake, or nuts and blue cheese.
Drink now or cellar until 2024 and beyond.
Date tasted: November 2014.
