Lovely lime vibrancy on the nose and palate of this off-dry Niagara Riesling. Notes of peach and pear and dried apricot. Beautifully made and balanced, and only 10% alcohol (yay).

Riesling food pairings: baby greens salad, pork tenderloin, turkey breast, foie gras.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

So yummy! This off-dry Riesling has loads of mineral notes on the nose, you can smell the limestone, followed by ripe peach aromas with hints of clementine and almond.

On the palate, the tartness is marvelous and the wine is absolutely vibrant. We have flavours of green apple, nectarine, lime, clementine, and almond. Delicious!

This would pair well with Tandoori lamb chops or with spicy Asian food.

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Very faint nose of mineral and petrol. Lots flavours of sour citrus (lemon) but at the same time sweet tropical (pineapple). What a fun and different wine.

Pair with some spicy Asian or Indian food or sip on its own.

From the Niagara Peninsula and wine region in Ontario, Riesling wine grape for Tawse Sketches Of Niagara (2015) are sustainably grown. Soft orange, cake baking spices and lemon curd are on the nose and palate and long citrusy finish. Needs some time in bottle. - Community Wine Reviews
