Fleshy ripe cherry aromas and flavours on the palate of this mouth-watering Pinot Noir. A lovely, medium-bodied, smooth Niagara red wine made from the classic Pinot Noir grape. Lots of ripe fruit on this vintage. Fleshy ripe black plum aromas on the nose with cedar spice. Could also cellar for a few years. Very respected winemaker. Pair with roast chicken.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled lamb sirloin with cocoa rub, veal chops, grilled duck sausages, grilled pork tenderloin with cauliflower purée and cherry compote.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pale garnet coloured with cherry, smoke, and earth on the nose alongside lovely leaves and red flowers. Flavours reveal red plums, cola, pomegranates and bing cherries. Organic and medium bodied with light silky tannins and medium plus, delectable acidity. Pinot love! Enjoy this with seared trout and asparagus.
Tawse Growers Blend (2015) is a medium-bodied and smooth Pinot Noir from the Niagara Peninsula wine region in Ontario. Look for sweet black plum and mocha flavours on this earthy and spicy PN. Pair with grilled lamb chops. - Community Wine Reviews
