Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

An unforgettable lip-smacker of a dessert wine that will take you to a happy place. Definitely the best Icewine I have tasted in a long time. Aromatic and bursting with flavours of luscious ripe pineapple, apple pie, vanilla and slight baking spice with perfectly-tuned acidity and a lingering rich finish. A perfect gift wine for Mother's Day.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Tasted in 2021. Still luxurious and vibrant. Aromas of pineapple, golden apple, pear and honey. Full bodied, luxuriously smooth, with a vibrant hint of acidity mingled with rich, ripe fruit on the palate. Reminds me of apple pie. Enjoy with strong cheese drizzled with honey.
From a well-known producer, this Chardonnay Icewine (2013) by Tawse is a perfect gift for Mother's Day. Lovely notes of baked apple, honey and beeswax can be found on the nose and palate with sweetness in perfect balance with acidity. Very unique and tasty. Pair with an apple and walnut strudel.- Community Wine Reviews
