A 100% Chardonnay, grown in Chile's Leyda Valley, which has a Mediterranean climate and moderating cool Pacific breezes. A complex Chard that opens with herbal and citrus aromas and subtle hints of vanilla and toast. The palate opens with white fruit then blossoms with vanilla and toast from lees contact in oak during aging. Overall, this Chard is balanced and appetizing. Pair with smoked salmon, "pil-pil" shrimp(spicy), tuna, white meats or cheeses such as edam, gruyere or brie.

Light straw, pale gold. Complex profile of apple, lime zest, elegant minerality and a hint of spice from barrel aging. Balanced. Medium plus acidity, medium body, medium fruit. Hailing from Leyda Valley, showing refined luminous, mild oaky characteristics. Golden apples, white peaches, gentle banana skins and an ever-so-soft hint of whipped butter. Flavours are equally expressive with apple skins, soft baking spices and a marzipan-esque toasted almond medium finish. Medium.pkus acidity and a medium delicate fruity body. Enjoyed this with soft cheese and charcuterie although it would also accompany butter basted scallops. 90 points - tasted October 23, 2018

A lovely Chilean Chardonnay from the Leyda Valley. A light golden colour in the glass. Very grassy on the nose, followed by juicy peach, asparagus and mineral notes. The peach aromas come through on the palate as well as the minerality. It also has lime flavours and a long nutty finish. This is a full bodied wine with a creamy texture.

Wine-Food Pairing: Smoked salmon. White fish in a cream sauce. Creamy cheeses such as a Brie or Camembert, or with Gruyere.

Chardonnay 2017, from Tarapaca Gran Reserva Vineyards, harvested in the Leyda Valley of Chile, reveals aromas of yellow apple, banana, lime, pie crust, vanilla and oak. This Chardonnay barely saw malolactic fermentation and was aged in three different types of barrels (oak, stainless and concrete tanks), providing freshness and a creamy oak style. On the palate, yellow apple, mango, grapefruit, lemon, salt, vanilla and crushed almond will please the chardonnay lover in you. Pair with cheese and chicken. Enjoy. Tasted at the Chateau Laurier in October 2018; Winemakers from Vina San Pedro’s properties, Tarapaca Gran Reserva Vineyards.
