Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A very impressive wine! Great concentration of tangy berry fruit with cedar and spice. Very well balanced, with nice tannic texture and structure. Enjoy 2016-2020. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Alex: Eucalyptus and blackberry pie all over the nose, with high intensity. So herbal, peppery touches as well, with a backdrop of vanilla and cedar. Quite alcoholic palate, jammy and rich with spicy accents and very mild tannins for cabernet. Reasonable length. 84pts
Tahbilk traces its winemaking roots back to 1860 with the founding of the winery estate and vineyards. It was purchased by modern day owner winemaker's great grandfather Reginald Purbrick in 1925 and since then five generations of the family have been involved. - Community Wine Reviews
