What a perfumed nose of dark florals and fleshy plums. The grapes grow on vines with a south-facing exposure on a hillside and produce small concentrated bunches. Luscious and layered with a velvet texture on the tongue. Pair with grilled meats.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: braised beef ribs, gourmet burgers, grilled smoky pork ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A lovely big ripe CS with none of the chalky finish I sometimes see in Chilean CS's. It does present a seam of dryness from acidity more reminiscent of Bordeaux. These characteristics would make this a beautiful wine for a splendid meal with rarer red meat as the protein.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby red, dry, chalky mouthfeel, balanced medium plus acidity, medium plus tannins. Densely concentrated, complex, layered black plum, blackberry, savoury herb. Pair with roast beef, bison burgers, charcuterie. Tasted 2014 vintage in July 2018. 91 points
Tabalí Talud 2014 is a medium-bodied and dry Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley. Look for ripe black fruit, spice and a touch of mint on this very approachable Cab Sauv. Pair with grilled game sausages. - Community Wine Reviews
