Susana Balbo's Signature 2016 Malbec is rich and juicy with blueberry-blackberry pie aromas with a touch of smoke on the nose. With great acidity for food, ripe black fruit, oak, full bodied and structured tannins pair this one with barbeque fare. Drink now and for the next five years.

Malbec food pairings: meatlover's pizza, lamb, spicy sausage, beef, meatloaf.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Uco Valley, Susana Balbo's Signature 2016 is a well-priced juicy Malbec with blueberry-blackberry pie aromas with a touch of smoke on the nose. Lots of ripe blueberry, blackberry flavours on this wine with alluring dark spice and a whiff of toasty oak and smoke. On the palate more blueberry, black raspberry, sugar plum and baking spice flavours with great acidity for food. Tannins are fine-grained. Great for barbeque fare -- perhaps last of the autumn barbeques? Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews. - Community Wine Reviews
