A lovely, vibrant, fresh and light-bodied Niagara rosé that's a blend of 90% Riesling and 10% Cabernet Franc grapes. Aromas of tiny field strawberries. Dry, refreshing fun! Pair with with seared salmon or tuna.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous salmon pink, dazzling bright. Yummy, refreshing, crisp and balanced. Wild strawberries, savoury on a medium finish. Paired well with goat cheese topped summer spinach salad with sliced strawberries. Easily enjoyable with or without food. Accessibly priced and widely approachable as a crowd pleasing option for warm weather gatherings. Tasted 2016 vintage in May 2018. 89 points
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Very interesting aromas, on this rose. It is Mostly Riesling with a dash of Cabernet Franc, so it makes sense that it is so fragrant. Sue-Ann Staff's Rieslings are always delicious. This one keeps to her strengths. Juicy fruit and well preserved acidity.
Lively bubblegum pink colour. Much more pale at the rim.
Aromatics of wild strawberry, rhubarb, cranberry, stone fruit.
The real kicker is that it doesn't taste particularly sweet. There's balance. The sweetness is evident, for sure, but you aren't looking for it and it isn't bothersome. It's all about the juiciness of the fruit and it is easy to ignore it and just appreciate a fun wine.
The flavours revolve a lot around the red berry spectrum. Lots of cranberry, strawberry, watermelon, and some stone fruit.
It is well made and fun to drink. The producer is also really charming and her winery is totally worth a visit in Niagara Peninsula.
