Gorgeous smoky and toasty oak and vanilla spice on the nose. This opens to green apple and peach on the palate. Full-bodied and layers with lots of heft. Try with grilled chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: smoked turkey, cedar-planked trout.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Loved this Canadian Chardonnay and all its splendor. Buttery smooth with flavors of vanilla and oak. Very well balanced and a crowd pleaser with the group of friends I had over that evening. It would be great with so many foods, and although we shared it with a cheese plate, it worked.
This wine was the only Chardonnay selected in 2012 as winner of the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Ontario Wines. Rich aromas of buttered toast, yellow apple, banana peel, pineapple and sandalwood. Quite robust and very flavourful, with a ripe fruit core surrounded by toasty notes. Full-bodied & Rich.
