Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a great wine with potential. Tasted at 5 years old, this 2011 Tuscan IGT is firm with its tannins and will benefit with some time in the cellar. Aromatics of red fruit, cherry and old world earthy, aged leather. Paired with BBQ burgers with bacon and aged cheddar cheese. @jonsteeves rated 88/100. Great value, buy by the case. Enjoy 2017-2024.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Open this bargain baby up, let it breathe for a bit and enjoy sip after sip. Aromas are tame with an attractive red cherry and savory note. The palate shows pronounced tart cherry, bitter dark chocolate and savory dried herbs. I appreciate the mouthwatering acidity but tannins are still young, thus too firm. Still, it's great bang for your buck! It should be a 2016 patio/deck pleaser for sure! Tasted April 2016. @sommsosa @bespoketastings
The wine's name "Solers" is Latin and translates to mean "ingenious" or "skillful." This wine is named in homage to Leonardo da Vinci. - Community Wine Review
