This superb, robust, layered Californian Cabernet sources fruit from three regions: Paso Robles, Lodi and Monterey. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then matured in American oak barrels for nine months. Aromas of fleshy ripe blackberries and plums wrapped in smoke. Pair with grilled meats or a juicy steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great value, perfect wine for a weeknight meal, weekend roast, or BBQ - pretty much anytime! Aromas of dark cherry, cocoa, eucalyptus, cedar, and warm spices. Full bodied, dry, with soft tannins, and rich, rounded fruit on the palate. The finish is dry with herbal notes. Enjoy with grilled ribs, sausages, steak or mushroom dishes.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

What I like most about this Cabernet Sauvignon was its aromatic presence. It is a pretty combination that evokes ripe cherries, herbs – especially mint – and flashes of sweet woodsy spices. The Slow Press experience does not end at aromas. It expands to reveal a comforting flavour profile, reminiscent of baked cherries and oak spice. You could enjoy this Cali creation with steak frit any day of the week.
