Concentrated pleasure with dark depths of fleshy black plums and blackberry fruit. Chary black fruit and loads of toasty oak. What a package, especially for this price. Winemaker Elena Brooks apparently wears steel cap work boots every day but carries a pair of high heels in case of "emergencies" (you go girl!). Pair with t-rex burgers.

Shiraz food pairings: rare roast beef, grilled pork chops, blue cheeses.

Reviews and Ratings

Kyle rated this wine as 66/100
Sister's Run Epiphany 2015 is a great value, medium-plus bodied, cool-climate Shiraz from the McLaren Vale in South Australia. The vigernon (grape grower) for this robust Australian red wine is Anthony John Parkinson. Silky, savoury and smooth, look for ripe blackberry, plum and cocoa on this flavoursome Shiraz. Pair with a grilled striploin steak. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
