A robust GSM (Grenache, Shiraz, Mataro) from the Barossa, supple and smooth with dark cherry, ripe red berries, cake spice and smoky, toasty oak flavours on the palate. The "cow' corner" is an area of a cricket field with respect to the batsman in cricket and is always deep in the field on the batsman's leg side where the 'cow shots' are intended to go. Cow shots are wild and risky cricket shots considered to be mostly played by novice players without the knowledge of the difficult techniques of the game.

Grenache Shiraz Mataro food pairings: gourmet hamburgers, sausages, barbecue-grilled meat-lovers’ pizza, lamb cutlets.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark ripe plums, leather, mocha and dried sage goodness. Predominantly flavour-forward with low tannins and moderate acidity. Enjoy this medium+ bodied red with charcoal grills beef burgers. Tasted May 2019.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

GSM blend, predominantly Grenache with Shiraz (15%) and Mataro (5%) in support. Leads with ripe strawberry and strawberry jam followed by a touch of leather and dried earth. Good acidity and moderate tannins make for an accessible red that will work well with food. Fruity and dry with flavours of ripe red berries and pleasant oak spice. Good value, will pair nicely with grilled sausages or slow roasted pork dishes.
Sister's Run Cow's Corner 2017 is a juicy delicious GSM with from the Barossa Valley wine region Supple, smooth and full-bodied the wine is smoky cherries, blackberries, cake spice, cold tea and oaks spice flavours on the palate. The "cow' corner" is an area of a cricket field with respect to the batsman in cricket and is always deep in the field on the batsman's leg side where the 'cow shots' are intended to go. - Community Wine Reviews
